Develop this into a 750-word essay. You must include in-text citations for the works under discussion, but a works cited page is not required. Your paper must have a solid thesis and be fully supported with appropriate and specific details. Conflict is a driving force in many works of literature. The conflicts may be internal or external, and the way in which the character confronts his/her conflict(s) may determine the direction of the rest of his/her life. Choose 2 characters from different works studied this semester and discuss the internal and external conflicts facing each character. Are these conflicts successfully resolved? If so, how? If not, why not? The two characters have the be Hamlet and Oedipus.
