1. Ensuring that you have a realistic budget is one of the most important parts of hosting a fundraiser. Please analyze the strengths and weaknesses of your budget. Are there places where you could cut costs or add more items? For more information on budgeting, please refer to chapter 8 of your Effective Fundraising textbook.
2. Please describe how you will market your event. Remember that you want to attract potential members to your event and raise $50,000. Explain how you would organize your marketing campaigns, what resources you need, and how you could involve your staff. For more ideas, please refer to chapter 11 through 13 of your Effective Fundraising textbook.
