A career in nursing calls for dedication and passion as it is not an essay task. As a nurse, I am determined to make sure I meet all my responsibilities and serve all the patients with energy and passion as I have learned throughout my career. This calls for experience and education, as well as strong support. There are various nursing organizations that I find effective in making sure that nurses across the globe are supported and well equipped with all the required skills.
The American Nurses Association (ANA) represents more than 4 million registered nurses, with the aim of making sure that there is improved quality health care for all. This makes ANA as the strongest voice for nurses in the USA. ANA advocates for high standards of nursing, safety amd ethical work environment, bolstering the health and wellness of nurses and advocating on health care issues that affect nurses and the public (ANA, 2020). Thus, I find ANA as the best nursing organization that will help me to be the best nurse and grow in my career.
National League for Nursing is another important nursing organization in my career. This is considering that the NLN is a platform for nurses to gain professional development, networking opportunities, testing services, nursing research grant, and public policy initiatives (NLN, 2020). NLN is a source of nursing education, training and grant supports.
The international Council of Nurses is an international nurses organization of more than 130 national nurses associations. It represents more than 20 million nurses worldwide. It ensures that there is quality nursing care, sound health policies, and advancement of nursing knowledge. ICN is a strong pillar in nursing quest to grow their career beyond the borders, and make sure that the future of nursing is strong (ICN, 2020). It is my goal to reach individuals requiring my nursing skills and nursing care and profession.
