Write a focused 45 page essay on the following topic. (You can go onto a 6th page for a separate works cited list.) Your paper must be typed and double-spaced in a readable 12-point font (Times New Roman recommended), with one-inch margins on all sides. All papers need to be uploaded through Canvas by 5:30 pm.
In a paper so short, you will need to keep your essay focused and on point; do not try to do or say everything! In making your case, you are expected to draw on at least two texts listed on the course syllabus as assigned or recommended during weeks seven through twelve (7, 10, 11, 12).
By draw on, I mean that you engage the assigned texts in a way that shows your understanding of them and your ability to make use of them for your own argument. Do not just insert block quotes from the assigned texts into your paper. Quotation is not yet an argument. You need to set up or frame quoted material and demonstrate that you understand what that quote means. The quoted material should help move your own argument along.
Citation: Parenthetical citation, end notes, or footnotes are fine. If you use parenthetical citation, you must also include a final works cited list. Many of the readings in weeks 7 through 12 focus on gender as an act (and a repeated act, at that) and the claim that doing gender produces the being, or interior sense, of gender. Drawing on at least two texts that are listed on the syllabus for weeks 7, 10, 11, and 12, as either assigned or recommended, discuss gender as a kind of doing.
Please Read the instructions properly . Please create an argument. I assigned a writer before for almost the same subject but only spoke about what he understood from the articles. The question is how do we perform gender. For example I don’t feel like a girl if I don’t wear earrings and then use the files attached to explain the argument.
