1. When is it morally allowed or permissible to use cost-benefit analysis to put a dollar value on human life? Give some examples. Explain.
When is the above not allowed? Give some examples and explain your position.
2. What, if anything, do you conclude from Sandels informal video clips experiment (Hamlet, Fear Factor, The Simpsons) about Mill’s distinction between higher and lower pleasures? What is his distinction and why does he make it? Make sure you show you understand the distinction.
