Statement of Purpose
The statement of purpose should be two to three pages, typed, and double-spaced. Your statement should be written by you alone and represent your original work. Please note that the Admission Committee will carefully consider both the content and writing in their assessment of your candidacy for graduate study.
Broadly speaking, the statement of purpose should address:
Your objectives for graduate study and how this specific TC program and degree option will enable you to achieve your goals
Your academic and professional background and how your experiences have led you to apply to Teachers College
