After reading The Destructors, please answer the following questions to the best of your ability.
1At the start of the story, a lot of importance is given to the gangs leadership structure. Why do you think the gang stops being concerned with who is leader as they destroy the house?
2How does the destruction of the house deviate from the gangs normal activities?
3How could destroying the house be seen as an expression of Ts feelings of loss?
4After reading this, how do you feel about T as a person? Think especially about how T responds when Blackie asks if he hates Mr. Thomas?
5Based on your answer to #4, if youre able to relate to T even a little bit, does that make his actions less evil in your opinion? Explain your answer.
