Choose two authors from the syllabus, explain and compare their respective theoretical arguments/approaches -you can focus on a theme or two that you want to develop through specific examples- and then position yourself and reflect critically on the authors approaches.
Society, Structure and the Sociological Imagination
You will write an essay of around 1000 words, it should be structured in the following way:
-Introduction
-Part one: explain the theoretical approach/argument of one author of your choice in the syllabus
-Part two: explain the theoretical approach/argument of a second author of your choice in the syllabus
-Part three: compare their approaches and provide some critical reflection/engagement, express your own voice
-Conclusion
It is recommended to choose a theme or two and provide specific examples.
